What a wonderful picture! This was a beautiful house at one time,back before the road took the yard, and now has stories to tell. Is it haunted?
Even though it's been abandoned, someone still mows and cares for the yard. Such a shame to see a beautiful old house in this condition.
Hopefully it'll stay standing. An article in the Emporia Gazette tonight said hundred-year-old lead/zinc mines under Galena are collapsing. That is damaging town buildings built above them.
