This is a beautiful photo. I wrote a piece on my CD, Elements of Trees, called “Sacred Dogwood.” The American Indians call the dogwood tree “The Tree of Life.” They used the inner bark as part of their tobacco mixture for the sacred pipe ceremony. Other parts of the tree, such as leaves and twigs, were used for medicinal purposes.
Any dog would love this picture.You don't often find vast purple backgrounds in ambient nature.
