A touch of water coursing through the ravine kick-starts chlorophyll production and the greening of the Flint Hills, west of Matfield Green. Soon the entire landscape will glow with the color of fresh grass. A few beer cans mean someone else stopped for a visit, or the cans may have floated here from far upstream. I cleaned’em up after the picture. Least we can do to say thank you to the hills is to clean up a little trash here and there.
