McPherson Opera House

McPherson, Kansas – Constructed in 1888, this Eclectic/Victorian marvel is on the National Register of Historic Places. The city is preserving the building and have completed plans for its renovation. In April the community will vote on a sales tax bump intended to provide funds to complete the project. If the tax measure passes the Opera House Board will seek a construction loan to start the work. Source: McPherson Sentinel.

I hope they get the funds approved. Although quite a bit of heritage is preserved in my country, there is still some that gets 'modernized' or bulldozed. Nice morning? light in your photo.
