Wildflowers stretch to the horizon on a Lyon County pasture, found off highway 99, south of Admire, Kansas. (Revision note: the image isn’t blue anymore but I kept the title. The previous version was fine at large size, but just didn’t hold its detail enough for a web-sized image.)
While I did like the b/w version, I like the color version better for exactly the reason you stated. The contrast between the green and the blue and white is striking.
Gives a sense of space.
