Sunflowers on Blue

Still attempting to do out-of-the-norm compositions of sunflowers here in prairie dust land. It’s difficult to do anything new with such a well photographed wildflower, but it’s fun to try some new angles with the old favorite. There’s a random weediness to a sunflower patch that I don’t want to lose in these captures. The out-of-focus purple/blue stuff in the background is dotted gayfeather. – Along a dirt road, Morris County, Kansas

Gorgeous blend of colors. I really like the bokeh.
