Above, the band Sweetwater performs at the 1st Annual Bike (as in motorcycle) Show and Recognition Rally. In addition to a motorcycle show, the event honored our military and service personnel. The event was sponsored by the First Baptist Church, and supported by the Christian Motorcycle Association Heartland Samaritan Riders, the Patriot Guard Riders, the Civil Air Patrol, and Emporia corporate sponsors.
The organizers did a fine job of providing hospitality and resources, including breakfast burritos in the morning, and a barbecue at lunch. (Smoke from the charcoal grills is the cause of the hazy background in the photo.)
