Clements, Kansas

Clements is still on the map because of a handsome stone arch bridge just down-river from the town. A couple structures can be found on the old town site next to the railroad, this being the best preserved of the bunch. I think a classic black and white image suits the quiet dignity of the scene.

You, sir, are not only a crack photographer, but also a philosopher. Black and white, you got it right. Dignity, yes.

I was just there, 9/15/2010. Love the tin clad store front, wish the state or someone could do more to preserve it, and make the Stone Arch Bridge more accessible for photos.
