This century old Lutheran church in Chapman, Kansas suffered severe damage during last month’s tornado. An estimated 60-80% of the town was destroyed, and a woman lost her life. This photo barely touches on the extent of the tragedy. Chapman school buildings are also badly hurt, but classes will resume this fall in alternate locations. Tornadoes are tough, but the Fighting Irish are tougher, and will rebuild their town. Much of the debris has been cleared away and repairs are underway on some area homes and businesses. Relief donations are needed for both the city and school district:
