Doyle Creek Ranch, Marion County, Kansas — This community of tipis is just down the hill from the big tents on the main site of tomorrow’s Symphony in the Flint Hills event. The educational exhibit is filled with examples of beadwork, painted rawhide, and much more (I got an advance tour). You’ll see a lot more activity around the tipis tomorrow, when adverturers start flowing in. The weather is looking beautiful and the symphony crew has been hard at it doing final preparations.
