Caney River Wind Energy Project, Elk County, Kansas – The rural building in the foreground helps give a feeling of how mammoth these things are. Located just off the eastern edge of the Flint Hills in Elk County, construction of the wind farm is still underway. The entire complex of 111 wind generators should be completed this year.
