Emporia, Kansas – A color “paint race” drew in approx 300 runners to Camp Alexander this morning. The event focused both on pure fun and also on promoting healthy living. All proceeds were donated to the “Children’s Champion Network” which in turn helps support Big Brothers / Big Sisters, Emporia Child Care, and Camp Alexander. Runners were sprayed with colors several times during race. As they reached the end each was given a small bag of colored powder for the big color toss event after the race.
