2008 Symphony in the Flint Hills
Although the cloudless day offered a respite from the frequent rains of this Spring, the sun was pretty intense. Many of the concert goers took shelter under umbrellas, or stayed in the white tents. Follow this link for a panorama view of the concert site.

Symphony on the Prairie 2008 – I don’t know the the gentleman’s name, but he was surrounded with a small crowd as he provided a historical reenactment and stories between the main tents.

Cheryl brought home a batch of fresh carrots and beets from the Emporia Farmer’s Market this morning, both with all of the greens. The beet leaves have an incredible range of color.
