Cottonwood Falls, Kansas – Above, Judy Coder begins to sing (solo) the Mourning Dove Song, one of the most hauntingly beautiful yodel songs I’ve heard. After taking this picture I just put the camera away and listened in silence. On every second saturday you’ll find some kind of entertainment on the streets of the city, in front of the Emma Chase Cafe (weather permitting). Joining Judy on stage were fiddler George Kralik from the Czech Republic, 18-year old fiddler Jake Simpson, and two members of Cowgirl Swing.
